Sharing is caring!

Make your home more welcoming and loving this holiday season with coffee filter wreath. This understated wreath is easy (no-sewing!) and inexpensive to make. It is a beautiful decoration for the holiday season. Depending on how you dress it up, you can make autumn and spring wreaths, too. The light brown coloring of the coffee filter pairs perfectly with rustic natural wood window edges. However, feel free to spray paint and add decorative elements to your wreath to suit your design style! It can also make a great gift for anyone!

DECORATE YOUR DOOR FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH THIS COFFEE FILTER WREATH! HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE IT:

  • 200 coffee filters in white or tan color
  • one 12″ or 14″ wreath either styrofoam-foam or straw
  • ribbon
  • hot glue and hot glue gun

Coffee Filter Wreath – Step 1

folding coffee filters before putting them on wreath

Start by folding the coffee filters so that the seam is down the middle as shown. After that fold the bottoms of the filters near the point about 1.5″ up as shown above.

Coffee Filter Wreath – Step 2

hot gluing coffee filters to styro-foam wreath.

Then hot glue a small section of the top of the wreath and the bottom of the coffee filter where the fold is. Begin adding the filter with the seams all facing the same way. I folded and prepared about 5 coffee filters at a time and then added them to the wreath. Make sure they are nice and close together.

Coffee Filter Wreath – Step 3

finishing adding coffee filters to wreath and bow to hang it.

Continue putting on coffee filters until the top of the wreath is almost done. Next you are going to add a wire or rope or ribbon for a hanger BEFORE you put the last couple of coffee filters on the top.

Coffee Filter Wreath – Step 4

Once you are done the top of the wreath do the same to the outer side of the wreath. Finally add a pretty bow, pieces of natural greenery, or pretty antique Christmas balls to the wreath and hang your beautiful coffee filter wreath!

Time to let the festivities begin because your holiday coffee filter wreath is finished and ready for Christmas!
