Christmas Candle Display – Example 1

winter holiday scene with candle

This first example of what you can do for your holiday candle scenery was made by Melissa. Melissa’s beautiful house was built in 1782 and her handmade decorations suit the house’s historic architecture and landscape. Here, she has votive candles displayed in four different sized mason jars with Epson salt at the base and a touch of holly, berries, and mini pinecones. She placed the candles on an antique doily and hot glued lace at the top of the jars.

Red ribbon added around candle and placed in jar.

Something as simple as gluing red ribbon around a tea light candle can turn an ordinary candle display into a colorful Christmas focal point. Shown in the photograph are five tea light candles in clear mini glass vases placed on the windowsill just below an evergreen wreath with red berries.

Let your imagination run wild. Whether you keep it simple or add an entirely new world these holiday candles are the perfect way to decorate your home. You can recreate these examples shown above or put an entirely new spin on this craft. Happy Holidays and Crafting!
