Second year sewer, Molly, 15, enters her first fashion show as a senior designer and takes home 3rd place trophy from judges scores for her “Dark Side of Disney” looks that she designed and created for our 7th Annual Fashion Show. She recreated the looks from Disney attractions “Tower of Terror” and “The Haunted Mansion.” Molly also took home the 2nd place award for Viewers Choice for her Disney looks. What a great accomplishment for such a Disney enthusiast! Some new techniques and challenges that Molly faced while making these costumes were; set-in-sleeves, collars, button holes, trimming in lace, putting in zippers, and designing the hat for the “Tower of Terror” look.
