How to Make a Red Satin Heart Pillow with Lace

You will LOVE this quick and easy to sew Valentine’s project. This elegant red satin heart with lace will add charm to your Valentine decorating.

CREATE THIS ELGANT SATIN HEART PILLOW FOR VALENTINE’S DAY! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:

• 1/2 yard of red satin fabric
• scraps of lace
• fiberfill or craft stuffing
• basic sewing supplies

Satin Valentine Heart Pillow – Step 1

First your are going to cut out your heart pattern you can make your own our use our free heart pattern. Pin and cut out two of your hearts from the red satin.

Next pin two hearts PRETTY SIDES TOGETHER. Leave a 4″ opening on the right side of the heart as indicated by the double pins in the photo. Stitch around the heart using the pressure foot as your guide.

Then turn heart pretty side out through the opening. Stuff heart and hand sew opening closed.

Now place a strip of lace diagonally across heart and hand stitch on the back.

Lastly tie a bow with lace and hand sew on top of the lace on front.

Your heart pillow is now finished and ready to display your elegant red satin and lace heart amongst all your Valentine crafts!
