WE LOVED DANCING AND WEARING AROUND WITH THESE FLOWER CROWNS ON AND YOU WILL TOO! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE THEM:

  • faux flowers
  • 3 pieces of ribbon, twine, or 1″ fabric, each cut at 60″ long
  • hot glue gun
  • basic arts and crafts supplies

Renaissance Flower Crown – Step 1

Start by placing 3 pieces of ribbon, twine, or 1″ fabric strips together and sew or glue together at one end. Note that you can have more than 3 if you want.

Renaissance Flower Crown – Step 2

Next braid the three pieces together far enough that they will go around your head. After that tie the end in a knot forming a circle to go around your head. Leave the rest to cascade down freely (not braided).

Finally hot glue faux flowers around the outside of the braid circle. When you are finished if the cascading ribbon is too long go ahead and trim them.

Hi, thank you. I made the pattern myself. I just used a little girls basic dress pattern and changed it around some. Sorry, with I could help more with that info.
