Either hand stitch or machine stitch using a zig-zag stitch. Be careful not to catch any other part of our knitting. You want to form a circle at this point. Trim all threads and yarn.

Let’s make the soft fabric flower now. Cut a strip of fabric about 2″ X 18″ for the flower. Fold fabric in half lengthwise. Tie a knot at one end. Wrap fabric around the knot and twist the fabric (with a sharp wrist movement) on each side as you get to it. Place spots of glue occasionally to help hold the flower in place. Continue doing so until you have formed the size flower you want.

Finally hand stitch the flower onto the headband over the seam. This will hide the seam!

You now have a beautiful knitted flower headband for your sweet baby girl!
