SEWING CLASSES:
Adult OPEN SEWING CLASS 2.0 Hour
Don’t worry…, you can do it! Whether your a first-time sewer, or you just love to sew and make new things, this class is for you. This is an open sewing class so you may sew anything you’d like from a tote bag to lined skirt to a quilt and anything in-between at your own pace! We know how busy and hectic life can be, so we have a no commitment opportunity for your sewing sewing lessons. Come to as many or as little classes as you’d
YOU WILL MAKE: Anything you want from quilts, to clothes, to crafts, to your first rag doll! This is an Open Sewing Class! We have hundreds of patterns to pick from.
YOU WILL LEARN: Many new sewing skills like sewing machine basics, tools and terminology, many different kinds of stitches and seam finishes, how to work with different kinds of fabrics, preparing your fabric, reading a commercial pattern, how to sew closures like zippers, buttonholes, and more, and how to sew techniques like pleats, darts, tucks, and gathering.
COST: $35.00 Each 2-hour Class. Come to as many classes as you want or need to. Cost includes all fabric and supplies, but students are always welcome to bring in their owes.
COURSE DURATION: 2.0 hours
PREREQUISITE: a minimum of two 2-hour private lessons.
SCHEDULE: Wednesdays 9:30a-11:30a
AVAILABILITY: Our Adult class is based upon availability and MUST BE BOOKED in advance. You may book one lesson at a time, or by the month, which ever fits your schedule or sewing needs best.
